Position Summary
‍Pacific Anesthesia, Inc. (PAS) is seeking skilled and dedicated anesthesiologists to join our employed physician group. This role involves providing clinical anesthesia services to patients across all PAS clinical sites in a supportive, collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Position Qualifications
‍Must have Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO). Foreign equivalent degree accepted. Must have completed at least a 36-month residency in Anesthesiology. Must have a valid Hawai'i state medical license. Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must pass pre-employment drug test and must be able to comply with all facility credentialing requirements.

Work Environment
Our primary facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center, equipped with 18 main operating rooms, 6 same-day surgery suites, 2 electrophysiology suites, 2 interventional radiology rooms, 6 advanced & 4 simple endoscopy suites, 2 cystoscopy rooms, 1 TEE procedure room, and an obstetrics department with 9 labor rooms and an OB operating room. Our anesthesia team also assists with trauma alerts, code blue activations, and difficult airway management throughout the facility

Anesthesia coverage is provided by either solo Anesthesiologists or MDs/CRNAs as part of a care team model with a 1:3 medical direction ratio.

Job Description
‍Seeking motivated Physician Anesthesiologists and CRNAs interested in filling our current locum tenens need. We provide comprehensive anesthesia services for a diverse mix of cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, vascular, neurosurgery, robotics, endoscopy, gynecology, plastic surgery, and non-operative room anesthesia (NORA).

Anesthesiologist Position Qualifications
‍Must have Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO). Foreign equivalent degree accepted. Must have completed at least a 36-month residency in Anesthesiology. Must have a valid Hawai'i state medical license. Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must pass pre-employment drug test and must be able to comply with all facility credentialing requirements.

CRNA Position Qualifications
‍Graduate of an approved nurse anesthesia program by the Council of Nurse Anesthesia. Certified and in good standing with the NBCRNA. Must meet education and license requirements for the State of Hawai'i. Current Hawai'i RN and APRN licenses. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Prior CRNA experience preferred.
